Job Description
Deutsche Telekom Global Business Iberia is seeking to recruit a Project Manager to oversee the implementation of new network infrastructure, LAN/Wi-Fi and network security device projects for both existing and new clients.
Activity description and specific tasks:
- Establish the most appropriate methodology for project management, from inception through to monitoring and closure, as well as the techniques for carrying out the associated activities.
- Plan timelines and resources to ensure the project is successfully completed within the required deadlines
- Launch the project, including clear and detailed communication of all specifications to the project team
- Monitoring and controlling project execution
- Managing internal and external resources allocated to the project
- Managing project costs and reporting any potential deviations
- Ensuring rapid decision-making in the event of deviations in timelines or results
- Managing warranties until the implemented phases are handed over to the service team.
Mandatory skills:
Required professional experience:
- More than 3 years' demonstrable experience in implementing projects in complex LAN. environments (routing/switching), Wi-Fi and perimeter security environments.
- More than 3 years’ experience in team management, effectively managing resources allocated to projects or one’s own team.
Technical Requirements and Skills:
- Manufacturers: Huawei, Checkpoint, Fortinet.
- Technologies: routing/switching, Wi-Fi, firewalls.
- Extensive knowledge of project management processes.
- Teamwork and good communication skills.
- Organised and good time management skills.
- Willingness to travel (driving licence and own vehicle)
Academic/Language Requirements:
- Technical degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Spanish: spoken and written.
- English: intermediate level (First); spoken and written.
Optional skills:
- PMP (Project Management Institute) or PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) certifications.
- Certifications in agile methodologies such as Kanban or Scrum.
- ITIL Foundation and experience at governance level in service incident management.
