🕒 Working time: Full-time (35 hours/week)
This position is subject to international regulations on military and aerospace projects, which require specific legal and security authorizations
Your Tasks
- Take operational responsibility for the Storage & Backup product in Germany, ensuring stable, secure, and high-quality IT infrastructure operations based on ITIL principles.
- Administer and maintain the Storage & Backup infrastructure in line with defined KPIs and SLAs.
- Support the planning, design, and implementation of new Storage & Backup infrastructure solutions.
- Plan, monitor, and optimize costs within the area of responsibility while driving continuous service improvements.
- Perform root-cause analysis and provide technical support for incident resolution and problem management.
- Execute advanced administrative activities within the Storage & Backup environment.
- Contribute to the operation of a reliable, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure supporting data centers, enterprise networks, end-user devices, and business applications.
Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification, or completed vocational training (e.g. IT Specialist or IT Systems Electronics Technician) combined with relevant professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, with a focus on Storage and/or Backup administration.
- Solid knowledge of Storage, Backup, and Recovery technologies (Block, File, Object Storage, Virtual, Disk, Tape, Recovery).
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following enterprise solutions: NetApp, VEEAM, NetBackup, Commvault, Data Protector, Data Domain
- Experience with enterprise IT environments and infrastructure operations.
- Knowledge of ITIL principles; relevant product certifications (e.g. NCDA, NCSIE, NCTA, MetroCluster) are considered an advantage.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root-cause analysis and solve complex technical issues.
- Team-oriented, reliable, detail-oriented, and highly passionate about IT.
- Business fluent German and English communication skills.
