Senior Network Engineer

We're looking for a talented and driven Senior Network Engineer to help design, build and support secure, scalable network infrastructure across both on-premises data centres and cloud environments. This is an opportunity to work on some truly exciting and niche projects, where your expertise will have a direct impact.

You'll be responsible for:

• Designing, deploying and supporting enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs and VXLAN.
• Managing and optimising Fortinet solutions, including FortiGate, FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.
• Supporting routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, VLANs and STP.
• Developing network automation and remediation scripts in Python.
• Troubleshooting complex network issues using tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump.
• Overseeing data centre infrastructure, structured cabling and power management.
• Implementing and maintaining network security controls, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement.
• Producing high-quality documentation and following ITIL-aligned processes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing Level 2/3 support and mentoring junior engineers.
