Junior Network Security Engineer

We’re seeking a talented Junior Network Security Engineer on behalf of our clients. In this role, you will contribute to the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise network security solutions while working alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their expertise across networking, security, and cloud technologies within a large-scale infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation, administration, and monitoring of enterprise network security solutions.
• Configure and maintain network security policies, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity.
• Participate in the deployment, administration, and optimization of technologies related to firewalls, application delivery, identity and access management, and network segmentation.
• Assist in troubleshooting complex network and security incidents, working closely with internal teams and vendors when required.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, security improvements, and technology implementation projects.
• Monitor the health and performance of network security services and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow security best practices and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient service delivery.

Requirements & Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in Network Security, or Cybersecurity roles.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, DNS).
• Familiarity with enterprise security technologies such as firewalls, load balancing, network access control, micro-segmentation, or application delivery solutions.
• Exposure to cloud networking or cloud security concepts is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow within a Network Security career path.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills in English and Greek.

• Azure networking and security services

Salary range: 1800 - 2500 gross (Salary range is indicative and may vary based on skills and experience)
