Role Description
nvisionist is seeking a skilled Network Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize the company’s network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity and security across all systems. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot network issues, implement system upgrades, and support the organization’s IT operations to drive efficiency and innovation.
Responsibilities
· Implementation, configuration and maintenance of network systems - IP address auditing.
· Maximizes performance by troubleshooting system & network problems & outages and scheduling upgrades.
· Identifies potential issues and implements solutions proactively.
· Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.
· Monitoring of MOC/NOC platforms.
· Maintaining ticketing system (Jira).
· Design and install servers, storage systems, and software.
· Windows Operating Systems (Desktop/Server environments), installing/maintaining
· Linux (Ubuntu), Installing/maintaining.
· Monitor system performance and ensure seamless operation.
· Identify and resolve system and software issues.
· Apply updates and upgrades to software and systems for security and optimization.
· Create and maintain system documentation, including operational procedures and guidelines.
· Provide expert-level support through escalated technical support.
· Be flexible for occasional business trips.
Typical Requirements
- A degree in computer science or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of first-hand experience handling system/network infrastructure and systems lifecycle management
Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-moving team which values communication & team spirit.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of operating systems and system management technologies.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Collaboration and communication skills
- Self – motivated, strong time-management skills with ability to interact with multiple projects and daily issues following ISO compliances
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both Greek & English, especially with technical audience
