The Opportunity

We are seeking a Network Engineer to implement, troubleshoot and document Core42's core switching and routing infrastructure. The environment includes Cisco ACI, VMware NSX-T, and core and perimeter firewall technologies. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who works effectively across technical teams, vendors and clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

Implement and support data centre networking technologies, including Cisco ACI, VMware NSX-T, and core and perimeter firewalls.

Develop implementation plans, low-level designs, system diagrams, configuration guides, test plans, support procedures and runbooks.

Conduct user acceptance testing and provide post-production support, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, maintenance, patching and upgrades.

Work with Systems, Cloud and Security teams to ensure solutions are deployed securely and in line with approved designs.

Plan and execute operational readiness activities to transition infrastructure projects into production support.

Coordinate third-party vendors, maintain technical knowledge, and ensure adherence to Core42's quality standards.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Strong experience in core switching, routing, data centre networking, Cisco ACI and VMware NSX-T.

Experience implementing and supporting core and perimeter firewalls, with strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Clear communication, collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.

Relevant Cisco certification, such as CCIE Routing and Switching, Security or Data Center.

Palo Alto PCNSE or relevant Fortinet certification; VMware VCIX-NV is preferred.
