Job Responsibilities
- Coaching and mentoring the Network team to ensure that personal development, service standards and are being consistently applied.
- Direct, motivate, delegate, and empower staff in the successful performance of their tasks and responsibilities while encouraging innovation.
- Take ownership of major incidents, coordinate with resolution parties, and establish effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews.
- Design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructure
- Configure, deploy, and maintain firewall policies to ensure secure access to critical applications and data.
- Monitor network performance, identify issues, and perform necessary troubleshooting to maintain optimal network health.
- Develop and enforce network security policies, procedures, and standards to protect organisational assets.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to assess and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the network infrastructure remains robust and up-to-date.
Skills Required
- Minimum 5 years+ experience in Network support with previous team lead/supervisory experience ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
- In-depth knowledge of core network fundamentals and technologies including; Cisco ISE, Cisco Wireless Controllers, FortiGate products, RADS/TACS+, SD-WAN, Palo Alto Firewalls and Prisma Access.
- Proven experience with Cisco’s range of products including Catalyst and Nexus switches.
- Relevant Azure and Cisco qualifications.
This role offers hybrid working - 2 days WFH weekly.
