- Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal network functionality.
- Maintain network security by implementing and managing security protocols and policies.
- Manage continuous process improvement of all network and network security-related initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to support network requirements for various projects.
- Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify and address potential issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and team members.
- Ensure network environment is secure and offers the appropriate level of high availability, redundancy, and failover.
- Review and study selected vendor network software and hardware products to determine those that meet the company’s needs.
- Participate in the presentation of information to management that may result in the purchase and installation of hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment.
- Perform network security procedures and recommend policies.
- Monitor performance of network, VM servers, and workstations to identify potential problems and bottlenecks.
- Keep up to date with the latest networking technologies and industry trends.
- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
- With solid experience in networking.
- Experience with the following technologies: Entra ID, Microsoft 365, VMware/Citrix, FortiGate, Cloudflare, 3-tier architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Experience with network security technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
- Experience with network equipment (Fortinet, Juniper, Cisco).
- Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong understanding of VLAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SDWAN, VDOM, and other networking concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
