Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer reporting to the Global Head of Infrastructure & IT. Based in our Baar, Switzerland corporate office, you will design, implement, and operate cloud infrastructure solutions. This role is central to ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our infrastructure across on‑premises virtualization platforms and Microsoft cloud services. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong operational discipline, and the ability to drive automation and modernization initiatives.
Responsibilities
Manage and optimize cloud services within Microsoft Azure, including compute, storage, networking, and governance components.
Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), including identity lifecycle management, MFA, SSO, and Conditional Access policies.
Oversee Cloud Operations, including monitoring, incident response, performance tuning, patching, and capacity planning.
Implement and manage Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and modern device provisioning and compliance policies.
Develop and maintain Conditional Access frameworks aligned with organizational security and Zero Trust principles.
Support and enhance Data Lifecycle Management and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls across cloud and endpoint environments.
Contribute to DevOps initiatives, including automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
Build and maintain integrations using Microsoft Graph and other API frameworks.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and configuration standards.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support security, networking, compliance, and application requirements.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Hyper V and VMware virtualization technologies.
- Extensive experience with Azure services including IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, and identity management.
- Advanced knowledge of Entra ID administration, identity governance, Conditional Access, MFA, and Zero Trust security models.
- Hands-on experience with Intune, Autopilot, and modern device provisioning solutions.
- Proven background in Cloud Operations, monitoring, incident management, and infrastructure support.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, automation frameworks, and API-based integrations including Graph API.
- Strong understanding of networking and network security principles including DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and routing.
- Experience implementing Data Lifecycle Management, DLP policies, and cloud governance/compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and infrastructure-as-code tools including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
- 5–7 years of cloud engineering or infrastructure experience, with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and cross-functional communication skills; VMware or Hyper V certifications preferred.
