We are a global IT services provider delivering onsite IT support, desktop services, field engineering, and enterprise infrastructure solutions to customers worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support at our Northridge Site in Rural Hall, North Carolina.
About the Role
The Desktop Support Engineer will provide Level 1 end-user support, troubleshoot desktop technologies, manage IT assets, and assist with enterprise technology deployments. This role requires excellent technical troubleshooting skills and a strong customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network connectivity issues.
- Manage and prioritize incidents using ServiceNow while meeting SLA targets.
- Deploy, image, configure, and replace Windows-based workstations.
- Install software, security patches, drivers, and operating system updates.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Office 365.
- Perform Active Directory account administration and password resets.
- Coordinate escalations with Level 2, Level 3, Network, and Application Support teams.
- Support onboarding/offboarding processes, equipment deployment, and asset recovery.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in hardware refreshes, office moves, and infrastructure upgrade projects.
- Provide professional customer service while supporting end users onsite.
