We want you to be a part of our team, from Warsaw, as a Network Specialist.
WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?
- Very good understanding of TCP/IP protocols, IP routing, Ethernet switching, network services such as DNS, DHCP and NTP, wired and wireless access technologies including Wi-Fi and 802.1X/EAP, and application-layer authentication and encryption mechanisms such as HTTPS, SSL/TLS, PKI and X.509 certificates. Hands-on experience in configuring, operating and troubleshooting large enterprise networks, including Cisco routers, Nexus and Catalyst switches, wireless controllers, Palo Alto next-generation firewalls and Panorama, Infoblox DDI, network-level encryption technologies such as IPsec, IKE and DMVPN, and Secunet SINAbox encryptors. Good knowledge of endpoint network configuration on Windows, Linux and iOS, as well as stateful and stateless traffic filtering.
- Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills, both written and verbal, combined with strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Open-minded, proactive, accurate and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility, motivation, initiative and creative thinking. Tactful, diplomatic, friendly, supportive, cooperative and service-oriented, with the ability to work effectively under pressure, with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Able to travel occasionally within Europe by plane, boat or car, up to 15 trips per year. Holds a valid Category B driving licence and is able to drive rental vehicles, including abroad.
- Administer, monitor and troubleshoot IP networks
- Administer the structural cabling system
- Performing changes in physical and logical network configuration, installing and removing devices, cabling connections etc.
- Provide 2nd line support to Frontex system and network users
- Create and update the technical documentation and operating procedures
- Advice possible network improvements, changes or upgrades to the network infrastructure
