Senior Network Engineer

L3 Network Engineer | Enterprise & Cloud Networking | Full-Time | Work From Office | US Shift

About the Role

As an L3 Network Engineer, you will design, deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises and Azure cloud environments. You will provide L3 technical support, lead branch deployments, implement secure networking solutions, and contribute to automation initiatives while following ITIL service management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support enterprise network infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Cisco routing, switching, and wireless environments.
• Manage Cisco Catalyst 9300 switch stack deployments.
• Lead MDF and IDF design, setup, and commissioning for new office locations.
• Implement and support Silver Peak (Aruba EdgeConnect) SD-WAN solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) firewalls and FMC.
• Manage firewall policies, VPNs, and secure remote connectivity.
• Design and deploy Azure networking solutions, including:
• Virtual Networks (VNets)
• VNet Peering
• VPN Gateways
• ExpressRoute
• Network Security Groups (NSGs)
• Routing Policies
• Azure Landing Zones
• Network Virtual Appliances (NVAs)
• Lead end-to-end branch provisioning and deployment.
• Prepare and validate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for new branch rollouts.
• Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and internal stakeholders during implementations.
• Monitor enterprise networks and improve operational efficiency through Ansible automation.
• Deploy and support Cisco Wireless and Meraki environments.
• Participate in Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
• Prepare implementation plans, SOPs, technical documentation, and network diagrams.
• Provide L3 escalation support during critical network incidents.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 12+ years of Network Engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in enterprise and cloud networking.
• Hands-on experience with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).
• Experience with Silver Peak (Aruba EdgeConnect) SD-WAN.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) and FMC.
• Experience managing Cisco Catalyst 9300 Stack Switches.
• Strong enterprise routing and switching experience.
• Hands-on Azure networking experience.
• Experience with Azure Landing Zone deployments.
• Experience deploying Network Virtual Appliances (NVAs).
• Experience designing and deploying MDF and IDF infrastructure.
• Experience with enterprise network monitoring tools.
• Hands-on Ansible automation experience.
• Experience leading branch site provisioning and deployment.
• Experience preparing and validating BOMs.
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes and Change Management.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• CCNP Enterprise certification.
