What You’ll Do
- Provide new employee onboarding, including hardware/software provisioning, account setup, and related configuration tasks
- Provide training and end-user technical support on hardware, software, proprietary systems, tools, and workflows
- Manage employee offboarding processes, including disabling access, revoking credentials, and collecting company equipment
- Administer the helpdesk ticketing system, troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware-related problems; provide optimal solutions in a timely manner
- Manage Cybersecurity awareness training for staff
- Configuration of law firm software integrations and maintenance (technical setup, ongoing support of data sync, system connectivity, and troubleshooting)
- Maintain system reporting infrastructure
- Coordinate IT hardware and software purchases, maintain inventory records, and stay within budget
- Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and compliant with HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules
- Maintain compliance with organizational IT policies and standards, including data security and system integrity
- Maintain antivirus software and endpoint protection
- Support vendor software, including implementation, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of applications and systems
- Stay up to date with advancements in technology and recommend upgrades or new solutions to improve organizational operations
- Provide after-hours technical support as needed
- Think critically through unexpected problems
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and hands-on experience
- 3-5 years of progressive IT experience required, preferably in IT operations, or systems administration for a small to mid-sized business
- Experience working in or supporting compliance-driven environments, preferably with familiarity in HIPAA Privacy and Security Rule requirements
- Experience managing third-party software vendors
- Hands-on experience with custom application support
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Security+, or related credentials are preferred but not required
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues across various platforms
- Ability to assemble and configure computer workstations and related technology equipment
- Knowledge of database and software integration principles
- Experience in implementing software solutions for process improvement
- Strong communication skills to assist clients and team members effectively
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in IT asset management and documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot unfamiliar issues and work independently in a fast-paced environment
