At AGEERA, we are driving the transition toward a smart, decentralized energy future. We build and operate AI-driven software platforms (EMS & VPP) that optimize large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Solar (PV) assets in real-time.

But a cloud platform is only as powerful as the local network feeding it. That’s why we are looking for a sharp, hands-on Systems & Communication Field Technician to join our team in Tel Aviv!

This role is the critical, end-to-end bridge between our field equipment and our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for pre-configuring, deploying, and ensuring seamless low-voltage communication and network connectivity across our advanced energy sites.

What will you do?

• Deploy & Configure Onsite Networks: Connect BESS units, meters, and networking hardware (TP-Link routers, cellular modems/SIMs) to our Site Controller via TCP.
• Secure the Pipeline: Configure and deploy FortiGate Firewalls to secure data transfer from the edge to the cloud.
• Master Industrial Integration: Work with RS485 and TCP protocols for seamless controller-to-device communication, and handle fiber optic equipment configurations.
• Network Management: Manage basic network routing, IP assignment, and cellular APN setups.
• Office & Remote Support: Handle pre-configuration of hardware before it leaves the office, monitor live site connectivity, and provide remote troubleshooting support. (Note: Customers handle the physical infrastructure layout beforehand; you focus on the hardware integration and connectivity verification).

What are we looking for?

• The Profile: A precise, independent, and tech-savvy professional who loves the thrill of solving complex hardware-to-cloud connectivity puzzles under pressure.
• Experience: Proven background as a Network Manager, Network Specialist, or Practical Engineer (הנדסאי תקשורת/אלקטרוניקה/חשמל) with hands-on low-voltage network deployment experience.
• Technical DNA: Solid grasp of IP networking, routing, firewalls (FortiGate is a big plus), and industrial protocols like RS485.
• Field-Ready: Valid driver's license and full readiness for dynamic field operations across Israel.
• Languages: Native Hebrew and very good technical English.

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Have):

• "Chief Electrician" (חשמלאי ראשי) license ⚡
• Experience with Modbus protocols, SCADA, or EV charging systems.
• Familiarity with Tier-1 energy hardware (Sungrow, Huawei, SolarEdge, SMA, etc.).
