Location

We are looking for a Junior IT Operations Supporter, based in Sofia, Bulgaria (hybrid mode of working).

Role Summary  

The Junior IT Operations Supporter plays a key role in maintaining the organization's security posture through proactive patch management, security remediation, and risk mitigation activities. This position combines hands-on technical execution with adherence to defined, automated processes to ensure consistent, reliable operations coverage.  

What You Will Do:

• Execute and monitor patch management activities across systems and infrastructure, following defined schedules and escalation procedures 
• Support security remediation efforts by identifying, tracking, and resolving vulnerabilities in line with established SLAs 
• Contribute to risk mitigation activities, helping to reduce exposure and strengthen the organization's overall security posture 
• Operate within highly automated workflows, monitoring automated processes (e.g., patching pipelines, alert-triggered remediation scripts) and intervening when manual action is required 
• Follow defined escalation paths and controls, ensuring issues are routed correctly and resolved within agreed timeframes 
• Participate in the on-call rotation to provide coverage outside standard business hours when required 
• Document actions taken, especially where automation has run, so that team members and stakeholders can clearly see what has already beenattempted before further escalation  
• Champion continuous improvement by identifying gaps, conducting process reviews, and implementing enhancements that strengthen stability and reduce recurring incidents

What You Bring to The Team:

• Final year in university or completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT Operations, System Administration, or Vulnerability Management 
• Experience with SCCM, Intune, Jamf, or similar tools for managing and maintaining servers and end-user devices 
• Familiarity with MS Defender 
• Fluent English 
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
