Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced DC-ACI L2 Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Cisco Data Center technologies, Cisco ACI, and enterprise network operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in planning, implementation, operations, troubleshooting, and optimization of Data Center infrastructure while providing technical support in large enterprise environments.
The candidate will work closely with customers, internal technical teams, OEM vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of the Data Center network infrastructure.
Key ResponsibilitiesData Center Operations
- Provide planning, design, implementation, operation, and optimization services for Cisco Data Center solutions.
- Manage and support Cisco ACI-based Data Center environments.
- Perform L2 troubleshooting for enterprise Data Center infrastructure.
- Support production incidents and resolve network issues within defined SLAs.
- Participate in change implementation, maintenance activities, and migration projects.
- Configure and manage Cisco ACI components including:
- Tenants
- VRFs
- Bridge Domains (BD)
- Endpoint Groups (EPGs)
- Contracts
- L2Out & L3Out
- VXLAN
- Subnets
- Perform ACI deployment, migration, health checks, and operational support.
- Support Cisco ACI migration activities.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and support:
- BGP
- OSPF
- Static Routing
- BFD
- PIM
- IGMP
- VLAN
- STP
- VTP
- ACL
- HSRP
- VRRP
- IPSLA
- SNMP
- TCP/IP
- IPSec
- PPP
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus product family:
- Nexus 9000
- Nexus 7000
- Nexus 5000
- Nexus 3000
- Nexus 2000
- Experience with:
- vPC
- VDC
- MEC
- Orphan Port Management
- Knowledge of Cisco ASR 9000 (IOS-XR) and Cisco ASR 1000 (IOS-XE).
- Provide technical support during:
- Hardware upgrades
- Software upgrades
- Proof of Concepts (POCs)
- Network migration activities
- Troubleshoot complex issues across networking, virtualization, security, applications, servers, and Data Center infrastructure.
- Coordinate with Cisco TAC, OEM vendors, Engineering teams, and Professional Services for issue resolution.
- Work closely with customers and internal technical teams.
- Participate in technical discussions and implementation planning.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational records.
- Ensure smooth execution of maintenance and change management activities.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Experience working in enterprise customer environments.
- Willingness to work in 24×7 rotational shifts.
