QA ANALYST

This is a remote position.

The QA Analyst will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts to test software applications, identify defects, and help ensure high-quality product releases. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to build a career in software quality assurance and testing. Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
• Review business requirements and user stories to understand testing needs.
• Assist in developing test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support.
• Validate bug fixes and verify application functionality before release.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain accurate testing documentation and test execution reports.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience (internships, academic projects, or bootcamps included).
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Technical Skills

• Defect tracking and reporting
• Functional and regression testing
• Basic understanding of API testing (Postman preferred)
• Familiarity with SQL fundamentals (preferred)
• Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
