We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Technician to join our team. We aren’t just looking for someone who can pull wire; we need a professional who represents our brand through technical expertise and top-tier customer service. If you have a solid background in Cat6 and Fiber (Multimode/Single Mode), a clean driving record, and a "get it done right the first time" attitude, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
>Install & Terminate: Complete physical installation and removal of structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A) and Fiber Optic systems (Multimode and Single Mode).
>Build Pathways: Install cabinets, cable trays, ladder racks, and through-wall penetration systems.
>Security & Tech: Install and service Access Control (maglocks, strikes, readers) and IP/Analog camera systems (NVRs/DVRs).
>Test & Document: Use industry-standard tools to test and label all installations. Maintain accurate redline drawings and documentation for client SLAs.
>Client Interaction: Act as the face of the company, communicating technical details clearly to customers and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
What You Bring:
>Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience in low voltage cabling and infrastructure.
>Fiber Expertise: Proficiency in installing and terminating fiber optic cable is required.
>Technical Literacy: Ability to read blueprints, architectural drawings, and electrical documents. Working knowledge of BICSI, ANSI, and TIA/EIA standards.
>Physical Capability: Must be comfortable climbing ladders and frequently lifting/moving up to 50 lbs (with occasional lifts up to 100 lbs).
>Clean Record: Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for travel to various client sites.
>Tech Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation.
The "Plus" Factors:
>Experience with Audio/Video systems (paging amps, projectors, webcams).
>WIFI installation and Access Point configuration.
>Associate degree or technical certification in a related field.
