We're looking for a Network Security Engineer to join a collaborative infrastructure team supporting highly available enterprise networks, secure data centers, and multi-site client environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a networking professional who enjoys working with modern Cisco and Palo Alto technologies while helping maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing enterprise infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and support secure enterprise network infrastructure.
• Administer and troubleshoot Cisco networking environments, including routing, switching, WAN, and VPN connectivity.
• Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls, security policies, and network segmentation.
• Support highly available data center infrastructure and disaster recovery solutions.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security while proactively resolving issues.
• Implement SD-WAN, wireless, load balancing, and VMware NSX networking solutions.
• Support connectivity for multiple branch locations and external client environments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams on enterprise initiatives.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and continuous improvement projects.
• Document network designs, standards, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Operations, or Data Center Infrastructure.
• 4+ years administering Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Experience supporting enterprise Cisco networking environments.

Proven knowledge of:

• Routing & Switching
• LAN/WAN technologies
• VPNs
• SD-WAN
• Network Security
• Disaster Recovery
• Experience working within regulated environments such as SOX, PCI, NCUA, SSAE, or FDIC.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Experience

• VMware NSX
• Panorama
• WireShark
• vRealize Network Insight
• Load Balancers
• Wireless Networking
• Server Administration
• Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or similar)

Certifications

The ideal candidate will possess one or more of the following certifications:

• Palo Alto PCNSA (or equivalent Palo Alto expertise with the ability to obtain certification within 90 days)
• Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE
