Security Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Analyze customer requirements and develop technical security concepts (e.g., network segmentation, Zero Trust, Microsoft 365 Security).

• Plan, operate, and evolve network and firewall environments (hardware and software).

• Conduct and support migration projects for existing network infrastructures.

• Provide pre-sales support including Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and custom solution designs.

• Plan, implement, and integrate secure network solutions in on-premises and hybrid environments.

• Perform security assessments, optimization consultations, and 2nd/3rd level troubleshooting.

• Create and maintain technical documentation.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training as a specialist for IT systems integration or a degree in Computer Science (Business/Medical Informatics), or equivalent practical experience.

• Ideally, experience in project environments and solid knowledge of the Sophos product portfolio (Firewall, Switch, Antivirus, WAF) and the HPE Aruba environment.

• Ideally, existing IT project or consulting experience and a passion for continuous development.

• Interest in new technologies, innovative spirit, and a commitment to staying technically up-to-date.

• Strong analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work.

• Negotiable German language skills.
