About the Role

Supports day-to-day IT operations, employee technology needs, system access, security practices, and administration of MetroWall's internal software platforms, including ERP and BI/dashboard tools.


Core Responsibilities


IT Operations & User Support:

  • Provide day-to-day IT support for employees, devices, peripherals, and office technology
  • Coordinate IT onboarding/offboarding, including account setup, device preparation, and software access
  • Maintain helpdesk records, issue tracking, troubleshooting notes, and escalation follow-up
  • Track IT assets, software licenses, warranties, renewals, and equipment lifecycle needs

Systems & Network Support:

  • Administer company productivity, email, collaboration, file-sharing, and identity systems at a user-support level
  • Support office network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, firewalls, switches, VPN, printers, and conference room technology
  • Coordinate endpoint setup, patching, backups, antivirus/EDR tools, and device security controls with vendors/MSP as needed

Internal Software, ERP & BI Administration:

  • Serve as day-to-day administrator for MetroWall's internal software platforms, including ERP and BI/dashboard tools
  • Maintain user roles, permissions, workflows, integrations, automations, basic configurations, and reporting access
  • Monitor software usage, license utilization, vendor renewals, and opportunities to reduce tool overlap
  • Support ERP usage, dashboard access, data refresh issues, basic reporting requests, and vendor follow-up

Security & Access Control:

  • Assist with MFA, least-privilege access, password standards, device policies, and periodic access reviews
  • Triage security alerts, suspicious activity, phishing reports, and endpoint risks; escalate when needed
  • Maintain access records, audit evidence, security documentation, and compliance support materials

Vendor & Project Support:

  • Coordinate with IT vendors, MSPs, software providers, telecom providers, and hardware suppliers
  • Support IT projects such as software rollouts, system migrations, office technology setup, and process automation
  • Help evaluate new tools, track renewals, and recommend practical improvements to IT systems and processes

Documentation, Training & Continuous Improvement:

  • Develop and maintain IT SOPs, access matrices, asset records, system documentation, and admin procedures
  • Train employees on proper software use, security awareness, and technology best practices


Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Systems Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience considered.
  • 2+ years of IT support, helpdesk, systems coordination, or business systems administration experience.
  • Experience supporting SaaS platforms, ERP systems, BI/dashboard tools, user access, permissions, and workflows preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, endpoint setup, basic networking, IAM, and IT security practices.
  • Azure experience is preferable.
  • Strong documentation, communication, troubleshooting, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across departments and coordinate with external vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, customer service mindset, and timely issue resolution.
