Technical Operations Engineer

The ideal candidate has experience in help desk, desktop support, networking, or junior systems administration and is looking to continue growing technically.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and end-user support issues.
- Own tickets through resolution and communicate clearly with internal customers.
- Install, replace, and troubleshoot routers, switches, cabling, ports, and other network equipment.
- Diagnose Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 networking issues.
- Support systems administration, infrastructure maintenance, and equipment deployments.
- Document technical changes, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
- Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining follow-through.
- Participate in occasional scheduled Saturday morning work.
- Experience in network support, MSP, or NOC
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routers, switches, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer-service skills.
- Dependable, accountable, and able to work in a fast-moving environment.
- Technical curiosity and a willingness to learn new systems and tools.
- Ability to work fully on-site in Miamisburg.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows environments, or ticketing systems.
- Ubiquiti Unifi experience, Fortinet FortiOS experience.
- MSP or other high-volume technical support experience.
