Network Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team for a major Aruba network implementation project with one of our key customers located near Brussels. The engineer will serve as the main technical point of contact for all aspects related to Aruba hardware, ensuring smooth implementation and operation. This role requires a deep understanding of Aruba's product range or hands-on experience with Cisco Campus solutions. The position offers a mix of onsite and remote work, with occasional visits to the Brussels area.

Your Responsibilities

• Act as the technical expert for Aruba hardware during the implementation and post-implementation phases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure network solutions align with project requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues related to Aruba or Cisco solutions.
• Provide technical documentation, guidance, and training to the team as needed.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of network infrastructure projects.

Our Requirements

Clearance

Must hold at least two of the following security clearances:

• NATIONAL SECRET
• NATO SECRET
• EU SECRET

Languages

• English: Fluent (required).
• Knowledge of French or Dutch is preferred.

Certifications

Mandatory:

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing & Switching or CCNP Enterprise,

OR

• Alcatel Certified Field Expert (ACFE).

Preferred or Willing to Acquire:

• Aruba Certified Professional – Campus Access (ACP-CA).
• Aruba Certified Professional – Network Security (ACP-NS).

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in network engineering roles, particularly with Aruba hardware or Cisco Campus solutions.
• Strong knowledge of network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with routing, switching, and wireless solutions.
• Ability to work in hybrid teams and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in preparing and maintaining technical documentation.
