As a network specialist, you will be part of our development team and take responsibility for the design and layout of the control networks of our customer systems as well as the associated backbone. In this varied role, you will ensure that our hardware and software work together smoothly and that a stable automation network is created. With your passion for technology and your structured way of working, you will contribute to the optimal standardization and further development of our product portfolio.

The position includes an intensive onboarding phase in Wels, Austria, as well as regular travel to the site for collaboration and coordination with relevant departments.

What you'll be handling:

  • You plan, design and configure control networks for fieldbus systems and IIoT in the automation sector
  • You will develop and maintain the network technology for our TGW product portfolio and contribute new ideas
  • You define network parameters and standards - from software to peripherals (access points, switches, gateways, etc.)
  • You will define the standard network topology and ensure that our systems are well connected to each other
  • You will support the product development department in networking topics
  • You document products and processes so that knowledge remains transparent and standards are secured

What you'll need:

  • Degree with a focus on electrical engineering, mechatronics, IT or similar
  • Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment, especially in the field of industrial networks, is an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of PROFINET and Ethernet-based bus systems as well as IIoT protocols essential
  • Sound IT knowledge (CCNA Cisco certification) is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of German and English
  • Analytical skills and reliable, structured way of working
