Job SummaryJoin our team as an ESS Technician! You’ll install, program, test, and repair electronic safety and security systems for residential and commercial customers. This hands-on role includes troubleshooting, running cables, configuring devices, performing inspections, and ensuring systems work safely and reliably. You’ll also provide clear guidance to customers and maintain accurate documentation.
Pay & Career Growth
- Apprentice / New Hire: $20–$21/hour
- Level 1 (0.5–2 yrs): $22–$23/hour
- Level 2 (3–5 yrs): $24–$27/hour
- Level 3 (6+ yrs): $28–$30/hour
Responsibilities
- Install, program, and repair electronic systems.
- Troubleshoot and test devices for proper operation.
- Run and terminate cables; read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Complete work orders and documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Safely operate tools, lifts, and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Networking experience required; multimeter experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
