Network Support Engineer

Network Support Engineer (NOC) | Dublin | Permanent

I'm working with a leading technology services provider that is looking to hire a Network Support Engineer to join its Network Operations Centre in Dublin. This is a hands-on support role, ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex network environments and wants to continue developing their expertise in Juniper technologies.

Essential Requirements

• JNCIP certification
• Commercial experience supporting Juniper networking environments.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching and network troubleshooting.
• Experience working in a NOC, Network Support or Managed Services environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Aruba ClearPass.
• Exposure to network security technologies.
• Experience working to SLAs in a customer-facing support environment.

The Role

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support across customer network environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents involving Juniper networking technologies.
• Perform proactive monitoring, health checks and preventative maintenance.
• Escalate complex technical issues where required.
• Work closely with customers and vendor support to resolve incidents.
• Contribute to maintaining secure and highly available network environments.
