Network - WAN Engineer

Title: Network - Client WAN Engineer

Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ / Alpharetta, GA(5days onsite)

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• The Client WAN Engineer is expected to possess in depth WAN Engineering skills in order

to develop best practices, refine operational procedure and constantly think pro-actively

incorporating automation to reduce manual tasks and increase productivity.

• This role requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual, possessing strong written and

verbal communication skills and has significant experience in supporting large scale, enterprise

class networks.

• 5+ Years of related IT experience.

• Hands on experience in software development specifically in Python, GIT, Ansible and YAML

• Hands on experience in Layer 3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) route distribution, router filtering.

• Hands on experience with various network solutions (SDWAN, MPLS, IPsec, S2S, DMVPN)

• Hands on experience in Layer 2 protocols (HSRP, VRRP)

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience and appropriate certificates.

• The desire and ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment is essential.

• Knowledge in the Linux/Unix environment.

• Substantial background in large scale network implementations and support.

• Knowledge of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures.

• Load balancers and Firewall knowledge a plus.
