Salary Range: $100k to $110k base salary depending on experience

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to support and enhance a complex, multi-site enterprise network environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on network professional with strong experience in enterprise networking, security infrastructure, cloud connectivity, and modern network technologies.

The Senior Network Engineer will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving network platforms across corporate, cloud, and hybrid environments while collaborating with cross-functional technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and cloud environments
• Manage and troubleshoot routing, switching, firewall, and network security technologies
• Support Cisco and Fortinet network platforms, including FortiGate firewall administration
• Assist with SD-WAN deployments, configuration, and ongoing operational support
• Support Microsoft Azure networking environments, including virtual networks, hybrid connectivity, and cloud integrations
• Participate in network design discussions and technology evaluations to improve performance, reliability, and scalability
• Perform network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures
• Support network monitoring and management tools
• Follow structured change management processes for production network changes

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or enterprise infrastructure support
• Strong experience with routing and switching technologies
• Experience managing Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, including policies, VPNs, and administration
• Experience with Cisco networking technologies
• Knowledge of SD-WAN concepts and implementations
• Experience with Microsoft Azure networking, including virtual networks and hybrid connectivity
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and enterprise networking concepts
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in professional services, financial services, legal, or other enterprise environments
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet certifications, Microsoft AZ-700, or equivalent
• Experience with ITIL-based change management processes
• Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with infrastructure and security teams
