Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure Engineer / IT Manager to lead our infrastructure, cybersecurity, and day-to-day IT operations. This individual will serve as the organization's primary technical leader while mentoring a small IT team and partnering with business leadership to improve security, compliance, and overall technology operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys remaining technical while also leading projects, vendors, and strategic IT initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support the Microsoft 365 environment, including security, identity, collaboration, and endpoint management.
• Continue the Microsoft Intune deployment and modern endpoint management strategy.
• Manage Windows servers, Active Directory, networking, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and enterprise hardware.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for infrastructure, network, and endpoint issues.
• Partner with Finance and Compliance teams to support ITAR and CMMC 2.0 compliance initiatives.
• Evaluate and help implement Microsoft Purview for data governance, compliance, and AI security controls.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and MSP partners.
• Identify automation opportunities using PowerShell, Power BI, Power Apps, and other Microsoft technologies.
• Lead and mentor an internal team consisting of an IT Analyst, ERP Administrator, and Business Analyst.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, or IT Management experience.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
• Strong networking, Windows Server, and Active Directory experience.
• Experience managing IT security and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Experience managing MSPs and third-party technology vendors.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience supporting ITAR-regulated organizations.
• Knowledge of CMMC 2.0, NIST, or similar cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
• Microsoft Purview experience.
• PowerShell scripting.
• Power BI and Power Apps.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
