Junior QA Engineer

This is a hybrid position based in Skopje. Team members are required to be in the office three days per week, with flexibility to select their in-office days based on personal preference and business needs.

What You'll Do

• Complete manual test cases and test scenarios with precision.
• Assist in crafting and maintaining comprehensive test plans and documentation.
• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, and QA team members to ensure outstanding product quality.
• Participate in test planning, sprint activities, and release validation.
• Support automation testing activities under the mentorship of senior QA engineers.
• Investigate and reproduce reported issues to determine their root cause.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and practices.
• Support production issue investigations when required.

What We're Looking For

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of software development and testing fundamentals.
• Internship, university projects, or practical QA experience is considered an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of manual testing concepts and software testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with writing and accomplishing test cases.
• Fundamental understanding of web applications, APIs, and client-server architecture.
• Exposure to bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) is a plus.
• Having a fundamental understanding of automation testing concepts is beneficial.
• Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript is considered a plus.
