Overview
We're currently seeking an experienced Network Administrator for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Orlando, FL. This is an on-site position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic IT environment supporting critical network infrastructure and security initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
- Configure and administer routers, interfaces, and routing protocols.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system availability.
- Implement and enforce network security policies while monitoring user and network activity.
- Provide technical support for network and application-related issues.
- Install, test, and upgrade networking hardware, equipment, and cabling.
- Coordinate with vendors for system enhancements and issue resolution.
- Assist with IT budgeting and expense tracking.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive organizational information.
- Support after-hours maintenance, including occasional evenings and weekends for network changes.
- Mentor IT staff and interns while providing technical guidance and leadership on network-related projects.
Qualifications
- Experience with network design, implementation, and performance tuning.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to support and mentor end users.
- Ability to safely perform equipment installation, including elevated work and ladder use (training provided as required).
- Must be eligible to work with ITAR-restricted data without sponsorship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance is preferred.

- Inside plant network cabling
- Experience serving as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) or Information System Security Manager (ISSM) is a plus.
Education & Experience
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience in network administration or infrastructure support.
