As a Network Automation Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for designing, automating, and operating a global network infrastructure by implementing Infrastructure-as-Code practices, improving operational efficiency through automation, and delivering scalable, secure, and highly available network services across data center and AWS cloud environments. Working closely with global Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Application teams, you will leverage modern technologies such as SDN, VXLAN, and EVPN to build and optimize enterprise-scale networking solutions while contributing to continuous innovation, operational excellence, and the evolution of a global technology platform.
How you create impact
- Drive network automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Design, implement, and manage global network architectures supporting business-critical operations.
- Optimize network infrastructure and routing, with a strong focus on BGP.
- Build, deploy, and maintain highly available software-defined data center networking and load-balancing solutions.
- Design and implement scalable AWS core networking architectures.
- Collaborate with global Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Application teams to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient network solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering within enterprise or service provider environments.
- Hands-on experience with network automation using Python, GitLab, CI/CD, Ansible, and Terraform (mandatory).
- Strong expertise in TCP/IP, routing, switching, network design, and routing protocols, particularly BGP.
- Familiarity with software-defined networking and AWS cloud-native networking is an advantage.
- Experience with F5 load balancers and knowledge of firewalls, WAF, and DDoS protection are desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, results-driven, and able to collaborate effectively in global, cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with excellent English proficiency.
