Senior Network Engineer

Maintain and improve global network infrastructure operations

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will design, maintain, and improve network architecture while supporting reliable operations across the organisation. You will collaborate with IT colleagues and business users to ensure performance and connectivity. Are you interested in working with modern network technologies in an international setting?

Ensure reliable and scalable network infrastructure operations

In this role, you will review and improve network architecture, maintain infrastructure, and support daily operations. You will monitor performance, identify issues, and ensure stable connectivity across systems. The position involves working with routing, switching, and security technologies while supporting business needs through well-functioning network services.

Your Responsibility Will Be To

• Review and propose improvements to IT network design and architecture.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Maintain and upgrade network infrastructure to ensure stability and availability.
• Support users and stakeholders with network-related topics.

You will collaborate with Group IT network engineers and internal stakeholders across the organisation. The position is based in Kaunas, with approximately 10 days of international travel per year.

Experienced Network Professional With Structured Working Style

You work in a structured manner and communicate clearly with colleagues across functions. You are comfortable handling complex network environments and prioritizing tasks effectively. You collaborate well within teams and have a practical approach to solving technical challenges.

You Also Have

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with network configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with network design and architecture, including wireless environments.
• Good understanding of Enterprise LAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN design principles and technologies.
• Practical experience with Cisco enterprise networking solutions, including Catalyst switches, wireless infrastructure, and network management platforms (Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco Identity Engine).
• Practical experience with Palo Alto Networks solutions, including Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), SD-WAN, Zero Trust security, and centralized management platforms, will be viewed favorably.
• Certification such as CCNA, CCNP or CCIE.
• Knowledge of cloud networking.

Salary range for this position is from 4300 Eur to 5300 Eur Gross
