Provide Enterprise data networking services and support in a Fortune 100 company environment with international reach. This position will interact daily with Network Services teams and ITG personnel, and in a team lead capacity for local network engineering staff as well as the end users on developing network solutions to meet business requirements. Leadership, network support, delivery and problem management skills are required to effectively meet business objectives and Service Level Agreements.

Major Responsibilities And Accountabilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

Provide MDF/IDF/Wireless installation and support in coordination with U.S. based network engineering team and act as a team lead escalation point for local network engineers in the GCN as it relates to network requests and support. This will include but is not limited to, network performance analysis, dns record requests, application connectivity and data flows, hardware maintenance reboots, syslog analysis, network map audit and remediation, firewall rule modification, switch port configuration, and vendor TAC case updates.

  • Corporate office network/end user support
  • End user remote access support
  • Understanding of complex nation-wide, enterprise WAN/LAN solutions, utilizing best practice switching/routing technologies and topologies. (i.e.: Fortune 100 experience in network design, deployment and support)
  • Working knowledge of the OSI model
  • In depth knowledge of Layer 1 technologies and connectivity – Cat5/6 and Fiber
  • Configuration and support of Layer 2 technologies including VLANs, VTP, STP, Port Channel
  • Implement adds/moves/changes for Cisco/Meraki switches and routers
  • Configuration and support of BGP/OSPF
  • Understanding of Bluecat Networks DNS/DHCP equipment
  • Software/hardware device upgrades, LAN equipment configurations/provisioning
  • IP addressing, variable length subnet masking, NAT/PAT, and VLAN interfaces
  • Advanced Wide Area Network technology provisioning and configuration for SDWAN equipment configurations
  • Act as a technical resource for projects, ensuring work is being completed accurately and on-time

B.Tech / B.E / Graduation in any specialization

Y Ears Of Experience

7+ years of Experience in

Cisco CCNA or CCNP mandatory

CCNA Wireless or CCNA Security preferred

  • Enterprise WLAN troubleshooting
