Network Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Network Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, network security, and troubleshooting, along with the ability to ensure high availability and performance of network systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance and ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
• Troubleshoot network issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement network security best practices, including access controls and firewall policies.
• Collaborate with system administrators, cloud teams, and IT support for seamless network operations.
• Perform network upgrades, firmware updates, and infrastructure enhancements.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security and networking standards.

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar networking solutions.
• Hands-on experience with firewall configuration and network security.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of wireless networking technologies.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an added advantage.
• Understanding of network automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, or PowerShell) is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent are preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to participate in on-call support when required.
