Your role
As a Network and Security Engineer, you will support the design, implementation, and operation of secure network and cloud environments that enable reliable and high‑performance services across telecom and IT infrastructures. This includes working with 4G/5G technologies, hybrid cloud platforms, and modern distributed systems. You will contribute to secure connectivity, resilient network operations, and strong protection measures across domains such as RAN, Core, Cloud, Edge/MEC, and OSS/BSS, ensuring that both telecom and enterprise environments remain robust and secure.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Integrate defense‑in‑depth, segmentation, encryption, and identity‑centric controls across telecom and cloud environments.
- Identify vulnerabilities and drive mitigation measures across network, infrastructure, and cloud platforms
- Support the secure integration of telecom vendor solutions and cloud‑native platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenStack.
- Produce high-quality architecture deliverables: HLDs, LLDs, security guidelines, and design standards.
- Strong background in telecom security with hands‑on experience in 4G/5G, RAN/Core, and cloud‑native environments.
- Skilled in cloud & virtualization platforms (Kubernetes, OpenStack, Docker, VMware).
- Experienced with IAM, PKI, SIEM/SOAR, EDR/XDR, Zero Trust, and NGFW solutions (Fortinet FortiGate).
- Able to manage complex priorities with clear communication and structured decision‑making.
- Expertise in Trend Micro Vision One for large‑scale enterprise environments is required.
- Fluency in Swedish and English language

This position requires Swedish citizenship and passing a security clearance in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
