- Assists with the coordination and installation of integrated communications, audiovisual, security, and network infrastructure systems.
- Supports the administration of requests for information (RFIs), shop drawings, submittals, and coordination documentation.
- Helps track RFIs and project documentation to support timely responses and issue resolution.
- Assists with quality management processes, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Supports the preparation and maintenance of commissioning documentation and project closeout deliverables.
- Participates in site inspections and coordination meetings with consultants, designers, engineers, and trade contractors.
- Maintains project records, reports, operation and maintenance manuals, warranty information, and closeout documentation.
- Builds positive working relationships with project stakeholders and supports a customer-focused approach.
- Learns and follows company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Other duties as required.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, engineering technology, information technology, telecommunications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of related experience, including co-op, internship, or construction project experience.
- Basic understanding of network cabling systems, including copper, fibre optic, security, and audiovisual cabling.
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation is an asset.
- Interest in building systems, technology infrastructure, telecommunications, or low-voltage systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications.
