Please Note: Only candidates permitted to work in the US will be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities will include assisting the Senior Network Engineers in the design, planning, integration, migration and decommissioning of the following layers:-

• Outside Plant Fibre
• Inside Plant Racks, Cabling, etc
• DWDM
• SDH
• IP
• DCN
• Critical Infrastructure (Space, Power, Cooling)

In addition, this role will require utilising bespoke inventory systems and will require individuals who have a methodical and logical approach to data analysis and manipulation.

The role will also offer the chance to travel.

Skills Required

• Knowledge of telecommunication principles
• Conversant with Microsoft Office
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• IP principles and Networks experience desirable
• Advanced Excel or Access Skills
• AC/DC Power experience desirable
• Practical/hands-on experience with telecommunication equipment (routers, switches, etc¿)

Educational Requirements

Degree or MSc qualified in an Engineering Subject
