Junior Network Engineer

Required Experience:

• 2+ years as a Network Engineer
• 2+ years of experience maintaining and implementing firewalls
• Extensive experience with LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting switches and Access Points
• Extensive experience implementing security measures such VPN's and intrusion detection systems.
• Ability to create clear and concise documentation of test plans, diagrams, and procedures.

Plus (Not Required):

• Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE certification
• Bachelors degree
• Fortinet Certification
• Cisco Switches
• Ruckus access points

Day to Day:

A food and beverage distribution company are looking to hire a Network Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role you will play a crucial role in Firewall implementation and upkeep working cross functionally across the network team. This person needs to have a security focused mindset and be familiar managing firewalls, Outages, tech refreshes, and overall configuration, etc. This individual also needs baseline experience as a Network Engineer with background planning, implementing, and maintaining both new and existing networks and infrastructure.
