What You’ll Be Doing
- Support and maintain secure network infrastructure across multiple technical projects.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve network and systems issues to minimise downtime.
- Configure, implement and support new network solutions and technologies.
- Work closely with technical teams and project managers to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
- Maintain and improve network performance, reliability and security.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, technical documentation and best practice.
- Share knowledge with colleagues and provide practical solutions to technical challenges.
- Ensure work is delivered within a structured, ITIL-based environment.
Main Skills Needed
- Previous experience working as a Network Engineer within a professional IT environment.
- Strong networking knowledge, including routing, switching and network troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting Juniper SRX environments, including VPNs, VLANs and cyber patching.
- Familiarity with virtualised infrastructure, particularly VMware ESXi.
- Understanding of Microsoft, Windows and Linux environments.
- Ability to investigate complex technical issues and deliver effective solutions.
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent commercial IT experience.
- Eligible to obtain SC Security Clearance.
