About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer (Firewall & VPN) to support secure network connectivity within a highly regulated enterprise environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing VPN connectivity, firewall administration, and network security operations while collaborating with internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Network Security, Firewall Administration, or VPN Management.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ASA and/or Check Point Firewalls.
• Proven experience managing VPN technologies, including site-to-site and remote access VPNs.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, firewall policies, routing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working within regulated environments such as Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or other compliance-driven industries.
• Experience with automation or scripting is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, CCNA Security, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, or equivalent are advantageous.

Language Requirements

• German: C1 or higher (mandatory)
• English: C1 or higher (mandatory)
