Summary
This position is responsible for providing Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk support for computers, peripheral equipment and software, repair and upgrade equipment, work with vendors to resolve technical issues and train end users.
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Deploy, configure, and monitor Azure cloud-based hardware, software, and services. Setting up and configuring hardware, software, and operating systems. Ensuring systems are up to date with the latest software, security patches, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Security & Access Control: Manage identity and access management (IAM), user access permissions, and firewalls to protect organizational data. Identifying and resolving issues with hardware, software, and network connectivity. Providing technical assistance to users who are experiencing problems with computer systems. Accurately log and resolve all tickets using ticket tracking software
- Performance & Optimization: Analyze network performance, troubleshoot system issues, and identify cost-saving opportunities by scaling resources on demand.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions and create documentation to help employees correctly and securely use internal cloud resources. Creating and maintaining documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Qualifications
- Technical Experience: Deep knowledge of virtual machines, networking, and cloud-native services. Strong understanding of operating systems, hardware, and security principles.
- Scripting Languages: Proficiency in languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to collaborate with DevOps and Security teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Computer Science
- 3-5 years’ experience providing helpdesk support in a Windows environment
- Experience working with LAN/WAN networking, VPNs, Active Directory and Windows Server.
- Experience with Remote Desktop technologies for troubleshooting.
- Experience with ViewPoint a plus.
- Ability to support 500+ person company.
- Must be able to effectively organize and prioritize projects to meet assigned deadlines.
- Ability to maintain a strict confidentiality of Company and client information
- Must have a strong sense of urgency and is reliable, driven and performs well under pressure.
- Must be able to work in a team environment as well as autonomously and show sound judgment.
Work Environment & Hazards
- Frequent work in rooms kept at lower temperatures ( to ).
- Server rooms with high-velocity air movement and elevated noise levels from cooling fans.
Special Physical Demands
- Lifting/Moving: Must be able to lift and move equipment (servers, workstations, printers, UPS batteries) weighing up to 50lbs periodically.
- Sedentary Work: Ability to remain in a seated or standing position at a workstation for extended periods while performing computer-based tasks, coding, or system administration.

- Significant contact with HR leadership and staff, as well as operations and project management personnel across Elecnor Hawkeye LLC.
- Regular contact with Payroll/Finance, Safety, Fleet, IT, Talent Acquisition, Legal/Compliance, and Labor Relations (as applicable), third‑party administrators.
