Associate NOC Support Engineer

As an Associate NOC Support Engineer, you will support the engineering and operations teams in monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing the performance of ExpressVPN’s global network. This role is ideal for early-career professionals passionate about networking technologies, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity principles. You will gain hands-on experience with real-world systems and tools that power an international VPN service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring network health, performance, and availability across ExpressVPN’s global infrastructure.
• Respond to alerts and assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving network incidents.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and incident playbooks.
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to after-hours incident response as needed.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of networking concepts.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana) or willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working with Linux/Unix systems.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS or GCP) is desirable.
