IP Network Security Designer

I am looking for an IP Network and Security Design & Implementation Engineer to design and implement secure, scalable and high-performance network architectures across campus, WAN, data centre, WLAN, and security domains. The role focuses on Cisco routing/switching, Cisco wireless, Fortinet firewalls, and F5 application delivery technologies, delivering end-to-end solutions through high-quality design artefacts, implementation planning and technical leadership during project life cycles. Excellent communication skills are required as you will be working closely with the end customer based in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

· Produce HLDs, LLDs, migration strategies, test plans, and implementation guides.

· Design and deliver IP network architectures covering LAN, WAN, data centre, segmentation, and interconnectivity.

· Implement secure designs incorporating routing, switching, firewalling and application delivery out-of-hours.

· Lead deployment phases including configuration, integration, cutover, validation, and handover.

· Work closely with architects, project managers, cloud teams, and security stakeholders.

Qualifications

· Cisco: CCNP or higher (CCIE desirable).

· Fortinet: NSE4–NSE7 (NSE5 beneficial).

· F5: F5-CTS LTM or similar.

You must be based in Dublin or be able to commute two to three days per week. You must be eligible to work in Ireland. Fully remote work is not possible.
