What We Are Looking For:

Sour Tech is seeking a full-time Repair Technician to join our team. A Repair Technician will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of devices, including phones, tablets, computers, consoles, and other small electronics.

Job Duties:

• Diagnose device issues

• Update and modify repair tickets as a device moves through the repair process

• Communicate with customers and team members on the progress of repair tickets

• Diagnose and resolve customer tech questions and problems

• Maintain a professional demeanor at work

• Intake arriving inventory and organize as needed.

• Consult necessary manuals or guides to research solutions

• Study training materials and follow guides to perform tasks with varied difficulties

Requirements:

• Attention to detail

• Willingness to adhere to our thorough repair guidelines

• Ability to problem-solve with patience

• Ability to communicate issues and procedures to customers in an effective and understandable way

• Motivation to find solutions to technical problems

• Knowledge of iPhones, Samsung, and other smartphones; as well as tech in general

• A background in electronic repair or similar technical fields is an asset, but not required

• Intake arriving inventory and organize as needed

• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in spoken and written English with customers and other team members

Store Hours of Operation

• 10 AM to 7 PM Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM Saturdays

Schedule:

• 6 - 8 hour shifts

Ability to commute/relocate:

• College Station, TX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
