Endpoint Security Engineer / DIS

Join TCS Hungary as an Endpoint Security Engineer and help protect and secure enterprise endpoint devices across the organization. In this role, you will support endpoint security operations, ensure compliance with security standards, and help safeguard laptops, desktops, and mobile devices against cyber threats. You will work closely with security, infrastructure, and support teams to maintain a secure and resilient end-user environment.

What You Will Do

• Monitor and manage endpoint security solutions across Windows-based environments.
• Support Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and other endpoint protection technologies.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve endpoint security incidents and alerts.
• Perform security policy implementation and compliance checks on endpoint devices.
• Support vulnerability management activities, including remediation and patch validation.
• Assist with malware investigations, threat detection, and security incident response.
• Manage and maintain endpoint security configurations through Microsoft Intune and endpoint management platforms.
• Support device hardening and security best practices across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and support teams to enhance the organization's security posture.
• Create and maintain security documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Monitor security-related incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution in line with SLAs.

What You Will Bring

• 2+ years of experience in Endpoint Security, End User Computing, Desktop Engineering, or IT Support.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint device management.
• Good understanding of Windows 10/11 security features and endpoint protection concepts.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management, patch management, and security compliance.
• Familiarity with Active Directory / Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
• Microsoft security certifications, such as SC-900, Microsoft Defender, or Security Operations Analyst Associate, are strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English.

About Your Contract

• 40 hours/week
• Full-time, permanent contract
• You must be currently eligible to work in Hungary
