Technical Architect – Network & Security

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect – Network & Security to lead the design, architecture, and modernization of enterprise network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining long-term network strategy, driving technology roadmaps, designing secure and scalable network solutions, and providing technical leadership across WAN, LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, cloud networking, and security technologies.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, along with hands-on experience in enterprise networking, security architecture, infrastructure transformation, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute a 3–5 year infrastructure network strategy and technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient Network & Security architectures across enterprise, campus, data center, and WAN environments.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical network solutions and implementation roadmaps.
• Lead the planning and execution of new technology rollouts, infrastructure modernization, and scope expansion initiatives.
• Collaborate with customer IT teams, architects, engineering teams, and vendors to deliver enterprise network solutions.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise networking solutions across Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Check Point, and F5 environments.
• Develop and maintain architecture standards, technical documentation, SOPs, knowledge articles, and operational runbooks.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing lessons learned, automation, virtualization, and security best practices.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex incidents, and resolve escalated infrastructure issues.
• Ensure network solutions comply with organizational security policies and industry best practices.
• Lead technical design workshops and present architecture recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance network performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge sharing across engineering teams.
• Support enterprise architecture initiatives by defining infrastructure standards and governance frameworks.
• Interface with technology vendors for solution evaluation, implementation, and operational support.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise Network & Security solutions.
• Strong expertise in WAN, LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, Routing & Switching, and Network Security.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Check Point, and F5 technologies.
• Experience designing secure enterprise, campus, data center, and cloud network architectures.
• Strong understanding of network virtualization, automation, and infrastructure modernization.
• Experience creating technical standards, architecture documentation, SOPs, and knowledge management artifacts.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and lead critical incident resolution.
• Experience working with enterprise stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional technical teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance across engineering teams.
