Network Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Provide network engineering support for the design, documentation, implementation, maintenance, and operation of an evolving network architecture.

• Manage network architecture, including operational and security-related updates and changes.

• Lead deployment planning and coordination of network system upgrades at various field sites.

• Interface with Tier 2 support to assist with coordination and issue escalation.

• Provide briefings and regular status updates to Program leadership on network-related issues.

• Offer cross-discipline training and mentoring to all team personnel.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field with 8-15 years of relevant experience.

• Active and current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in network infrastructure.

• Proven experience with specific vendor SSR architecture and configuration, and expertise in SD-WAN technologies and implementation.

• Proficiency in specific vendor operating systems and strong understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).

• Experience with network virtualization, software-defined networking, and familiarity with network automation tools.
