Join us as a Client Partner and make a real impact with strategic customers. The Client Partner is an ongoing client-facing role responsible for communicating performance against strategy-aligned KPIs, periodically revising client strategy in partnership with stakeholders, ensuring Schneider Electric commitments are delivered with excellence, and identifying additional value across Schneider Electric solutions. The role blends consultative relationship management, business development, market strategy, entrepreneurship, and territory management within a high-performing, fast-paced Client Services environment.
What will you do?
Client Relationship & Strategy
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- • Develop a complete understanding of each client's business operations, facility operations, key contacts, market risk tolerance, industry pressures, project investment requirements, and energy information infrastructure.
- • Determine key client stakeholders needed for successful management of demand-side deliverables.
- • Advise clients in developing a vision, strategic energy plan, and key performance indicators; manage progress against the strategy with internal team members.
- • Communicate regularly with assigned client stakeholders to maintain alignment, buy-in, and momentum around goals and objectives.
Business Development & Value Expansion
- • Learn new offering content and directly engage clients from opportunity identification through sale.
- • Promote and support additional Client Services and Schneider Electric solutions that align with client priorities.
- • Support client contract renewals, expansion of available energy demand-side management services, and related negotiations.
- • Collaborate with internal sales teams to introduce Schneider Electric capabilities to assigned clients and identify potential solutions.
Client Delivery Excellence & Program Management
- • Lead, manage, complete, and delegate client-specific tasks to ensure each client is served with excellence and understands the value being delivered.
- • Help clients make cost-effective decisions related to energy costs and usage to strategically position their organizations.
- • Coordinate assigned client meetings using internal resources when appropriate; prepare meeting materials and present to all levels of the client's organization.
- • Ensure internal commitments are delivered with excellence and reinforce Schneider Electric's value through consistent follow-through.
Tools, Data & Internal Coordination
- • Effectively use Schneider Electric proprietary databases designed to support client energy program management.
- • Use Microsoft Office tools, task-management programs, and other internal systems to organize work, communicate clearly, and track progress.
- • Work effectively in a team environment with sales, operations, subject matter experts, and leadership.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- • Preferred degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related area.
- • 2-5 years of experience with a four-year college or university degree by the start date.
- • Demonstrated leadership in previous organizations or work environments.
- • Strong communication skills, ability to build rapport easily, and strong social skills.
- • Ability to communicate effectively, manage relationships, identify and solve problems, and drive exceptional results.
- • High interest in the energy industry and in generating or leading energy-related opportunities for end users.
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- • Proficiency with task-management programs or knowledge of Asana.
- • High commitment to the company's vision and values.
- • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- • Proven track record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.
- • Effective working in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- • Experience in consultative relationship management, business development, or client success.
- • Experience supporting energy, sustainability, facilities, or demand-side management programs.
- • Comfort presenting to multiple organizational levels and coordinating cross-functional meeting preparation.
- • Experience supporting contract renewals, value expansion, or solution introduction with existing clients.

Most of the work is sedentary. While performing the primary functions of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to a general office environment. During project site visits, the employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions as well as mechanical equipment rooms that could include confined spaces and loud noises. Employees may work in different environments while on various job sites. This job will require approximately 40-60% travel to project sites, using an automobile or airplane to destinations.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 94,400 - USD 141,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
