We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Network & Low Voltage Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot networking, cabling, and security systems. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, hands-on field experience, and a commitment to meeting customer needs and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network systems, including switching and connectivity
- Install and service CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems
- Perform structured cabling work, including Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic termination and testing
- Diagnose and repair communication systems using appropriate testing tools
- Replace defective components and install new equipment as needed
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams
- Complete and submit service reports and documentation accurately and on time
- Safely operate power tools, lifts, and specialized equipment
- Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent certifications
- 2+ years of experience in the technology field
- Solid understanding of networking and troubleshooting
- Experience with structured cabling and low voltage systems
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and customer-focused mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (cable pulling, working in attics, using lifts)
- Flexibility to work long hours, evenings, or weekends as needed
- Willingness to travel frequently, including short notice
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- CompTIA A+ and networking certifications are preferred or required
- Overtime pay
- Millage pay
